Thirteen years of marriage saved
How did finding the right tools help this couple?

"Coming to the Succeed in Marriage Course was my last resort," remembers Ricardo Estrada. He and his wife of thirteen years, Christina, were heading for divorce, even though neither of them wanted to end their marriage.

Ricardo's online infidelity and Christina's controlling behavior fed off of one another. "We had gone to so many other counseling courses and knew we needed to treat each other better, but just knowing what we should do didn't stop us from hurting each other," said Christina. "When we came to Succeed in Marriage, what made all the difference were the practical tools."

Once the course was over, Ricardo and Christina each began to reread and rethink all that they had learned, and with no pressure from the other, began to implement those tools.

"Today, our marriage is totally different," says Christina, "We know how to handle problems by finding the root, and how to control our emotions." Divorce is no longer in the picture, just many more years of happiness!
