Neliz Soriano was given the heart-breaking news that her three-year-old, Jennifer, had ovarian cancer. All her hopes were on the skill of the doctors as she sent her baby to the operating room where a tumor the size of an orange was removed from one of her ovaries.

But despite the success of that surgery, doctors discovered that another more complex tumor had grown. Little Jennifer was too weak and vulnerable to withstand another operation. She would need to wait another year to grow strong enough, and even so, they would be unable to remove the entire tumor. Their most optimistic prognosis was that a second surgery could only provide two or three more months of life. Either way, Jennifer would never be healed.

Knowing that the doctors were doing all they could, Neliz searched for help. She turned to prayers, natural remedies, and even witchcraft, but nothing helped her daughter. Jennifer was getting weaker, would bruise and bleed easily and seemed to be wasting away.

But a friend had found SiLC and invited Neliz to come and bring her child for prayer. It was at that time that the oil from the Holy Land was being given, and Neliz learned how to pray, to use her faith and to anoint her daughter for healing. Every day, Neliz anointed Jennifer, despite the fact that the cancer was continuing to threaten her life. Neliz chose to believe that God had already healed her child.

The scheduled day of the second operation had come, and Jennifer had to go through some preparatory exams. The doctors were stunned that they could find no trace of Jennifer's tumor, which should have spread even further by this time. More exams were done, and all of them returned negative for any sign of cancer. In disbelief, they sent her to two other hospitals, but the results remained negative. The only thing left for the doctors to do was to congratulate Neliz. Little Jennifer was cancer free!

Ten years have now passed since Jennifer was healed. Today she is a happy, active fourteen-year-old with no health problems whatsoever. Because of Neliz's choice to use her faith and to anoint her daughter with the oil from the Holy Land through the worst time in her life, the whole family can now celebrate each day knowing that God's power can destroy even death.
