Depression Gives Way to Indignation
How could I lose the business God has given me?

I came to SiLC when my life was a mess. I would see visions and hear voices, had depression and panic attacks. I was prescribed antidepressants, but the side effects were so harmful that I was hospitalized with symptoms of a heart attack at just 27 years old. My dad passed away, my mother developed cancer and my marriage was suffering. I looked for help in different churches but my depression only worsened.

My last resort was SiLC, and I was ready to listen and learn. I was taught how to fight against my problems and use my faith. After years of suffering, it only took a year and a half of praying and growing that turned my life completely around. I'm now free from depression and fears, and no longer see visions or hear voices.

If God had set me free from my misery, it only made sense that He would bless me financially too. I asked God to bless me so that His name could be glorified through my life. God answered, providing the funds for me to open my own school of beauty just the way I wanted it, with the all the equipment that I needed.

But after my school opened, many difficulties threatened to close it down, but instead of panic or fear, an anger grew inside of me against the situation. If God had given this to me, how could problems steal it away? I couldn't accept this defeat.

God blessed me even more, the problems were solved and my school did not close - instead it doubled in size and in enrollment. The beauty school where I had first studied closed down, and God enabled me to buy their equipment, worth more than twenty thousand dollars, for a very reasonable price. God causes me to grow each day, and I'm not stopping because the fire inside of me burns brighter to achieve even more. Learning that God's word is not just for me to listen and hear but to actually see it come true in my life has changed me completely.
