Drinking, smoking and full of anger
Never thought I could change
Having a prostitute for a mother and a drunk abuser for a father, I grew up drinking, smoking and full of anger. I got married when I was twenty-one years old, everything seemed to be going well. My husband stopped using drugs after 10 years, right when everything seemed to improve things got worse.
Resentment and anger bottled up in my heart when my husband was unfaithful. Verbal arguments turned physical, I would grab the scissors and break everything that was on my way. My husband had to hide the knives at home and would always end up scratched or bruised. I tried killing my husband and myself several times.
I never thought I could change – until I killed the root of my problems and saw a permanent change in my life. At SiLC I learned that there is a way out to any problem that may come my way.
