I have given Jericho into your hand
A few more weeks left of 2011 and 2012 will be another opportunity to start afresh, but why wait? If we end the year on the right track, no doubt 2012 will be a year to conquer new blessings. Friday is when we fight hard against the attacks of evil and negativity in your life. That means only 3 Fridays left of the year to finally tear down the walls that have blocked you from moving forward this year. It's time to make a chain of prayer, where every Friday service becomes a strong link that creates a force of faith in the name of Jesus that no evil can resist.
Joshua and the people of God knew what it was like to face impenetrable walls. Jericho was a fortress city and sealed tight against their advancing army. But for God, the walls were no obstacle at all. God instructed Joshua, "You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets." Joshua 6:3-4
It was a ridiculously simple plan: march for seven days and blow trumpets. But it was a command that came from God, and with that simple act of obedience, Joshua and his people saw those impenetrable walls crumble like sand.
In this same spirit, we will be praying for thirteen Fridays against the wall of problems in your life. We will shout our victory as the wall of problems collapse before you.
